The end of 2007 and the start of 2008 were not good times for The Raft.

The songs featured here were written and recorded during this time period for no other reason than the fact we needed something to do.

After re-visiting these songs more than two years on we decided to present them here in their original form, recorded live with next to no rehearsal (hence the dodgy vocals in places, blatant mistakes and happy accidents).

The album is for us. Just as these sessions were for us. It serves as a reminder that music can play its part in getting you through tough times.

Its for us. But now its for you as well. We hope you can take something from it as we have......
