Didn't know what I had
Didn't know where it was going
But it doesn't make me sad
Was just the way the wind was blowing
So I close my heart
And I close the door once more
And wage another war
All the dreams came too soon
And they all came without knowing
But I couldn't let them bloom
I couldn't give them time for growing
Didn't let them in
Didn't let them begin to win
Couldn't let them win
And so I'm here and I'm waiting for the end
All alive
Flick away another friend
Just hold me back from holding back the world
Hold back the world
So I let it die but I leave a little trail to days gone by
And send the good ship out to sail
And I'll raise a glass when there's nothing left of myself
And drink to your health
Speak like a lion and I sing like a bird
Fade like a summer and then don't say another word
And so I'm here and I'm waiting for the end
All alive
Flick away another friend
Gathering up nothing and giving it all away
Head full of thunder but it's wonder I say
It holds me back from coming back to the world
Hold back the world

Great dream pop textures on this satisfying album – a catchy collection that'll add some light and shade to any day. There's a nice droning momentum within all tracks, punctuated by many moments of great elegance and urgency. Michael Reilly
Five ghostly folk songs described by Dayydream as being on the border of imagination & reality, all wreathed in delicate echo. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 6, 2022

I immediately loved the style of this second album since first listening to 'Lost Summer' played on local radio (Three D). A melodic, meaningful and somewhat hazy sound filled with washes of guitar and voice – the perfect musical accompaniment when working or relaxing. Michael Reilly
